Remote Sales Executive - Industrial Automation & Instrumentation

A leading provider of industrial measurement and automation solutions is seeking an experienced Sales Executive to manage and develop a designated UK territory - we have requirement in the Midlands & South West.

This field-based role combines account management, business development and technical solution selling. You will be responsible for growing existing customer relationships, winning new business and delivering tailored technical solutions across a broad range of industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a territory sales plan to achieve revenue and growth targets
  • Manage and expand existing customer accounts
  • Generate new business through prospecting and networking
  • Conduct regular customer visits and provide solution-based technical sales support
  • Prepare quotations, proposals and sales forecasts
  • Maintain CRM records and pipeline activity
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity
  • Collaborate with engineering, marketing and customer support teams

Requirements

  • Proven experience in external B2B Solution sales, ideally in a technical field
  • Experience selling into Water treatment, Food & Bev, FMCG, Chemical, Renewable Energy or Manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial automation, instrumentation, process control or related technologies
  • Ability to understand customer applications and provide technical solutions
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated, organised and target-driven
  • Confidence meeting clients/customers
  • Full UK driving licence
