Remote Sales Executive - Industrial Automation & Instrumentation
A leading provider of industrial measurement and automation solutions is seeking an experienced Sales Executive to manage and develop a designated UK territory - we have requirement in the Midlands & South West.
This field-based role combines account management, business development and technical solution selling. You will be responsible for growing existing customer relationships, winning new business and delivering tailored technical solutions across a broad range of industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan to achieve revenue and growth targets
- Manage and expand existing customer accounts
- Generate new business through prospecting and networking
- Conduct regular customer visits and provide solution-based technical sales support
- Prepare quotations, proposals and sales forecasts
- Maintain CRM records and pipeline activity
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity
- Collaborate with engineering, marketing and customer support teams

Requirements
- Proven experience in external B2B Solution sales, ideally in a technical field
- Experience selling into Water treatment, Food & Bev, FMCG, Chemical, Renewable Energy or Manufacturing sectors.
- Strong knowledge of industrial automation, instrumentation, process control or related technologies
- Ability to understand customer applications and provide technical solutions
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, organised and target-driven
- Confidence meeting clients/customers
- Full UK driving licence
