Role Description
This full-time, on-site Sales Executive role is based at the Glyn Hopkin dealership in Watford. The Sales Executive will engage with prospective and existing customers, understand their mobility and vehicle needs, and guide them through the sales process for new and used vehicles. - Handling showroom and telephone enquiries
- Conducting test drives
- Preparing and presenting tailored quotations
- Progressing deals from initial contact through to successful completion

The role involves maintaining accurate customer records, following up leads, promoting finance and additional products in line with company policies, and collaborating with colleagues to meet individual and team sales targets. The Sales Executive will consistently uphold Glyn Hopkin’s standards of professional conduct and customer care, ensuring a high-quality experience at every touchpoint.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive or retail sales, with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building capabilities, with a focus on delivering a positive and supportive experience.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, including confident presentation and active listening abilities.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, with accuracy in handling documentation and customer records.
- Comfort with using dealership systems, CRM tools, and basic office software to manage leads and sales activity.
- Knowledge of vehicle features, finance options, and the Motability Scheme, or a willingness to learn these quickly.
- Ability to work on-site in Watford, including weekends and peak trading hours as required.
- Valid UK driving license and a professional, adaptable approach that aligns with Glyn Hopkin Group’s values.
