ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Sales Executive will provide support to the Sales management team to ensure the team achieves its revenue goals while delivering 5-star service to our guests. This is a proactive role, meaning you will play an active part in finding and securing new business.

We are looking for someone who is outgoing, a great communicator, and driven!

As Sales Executive, key aspects of your role will include:

  • Proactively establish and maintain positive relationships with clients and prospective clients
  • Schedule and attend sales calls and networking events to meet prospective clients
  • Establish and maintain a database of clients
  • Communicate with guests via email, telephone, and in-person
  • Conduct hotel show rounds with prospective and current clients
  • Liaise with Revenue to obtain bedroom rate quotes
  • Liaise with the operational beverage and food teams to ensure guest requests are met

Our ideal Sales Executive is someone who has:

  • The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders
  • Strong organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Sophisticated communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Previous experience working in the five-star, luxury hotel and/or events market
  • At least two years' experience working within a Sales environment within a hotel or hospitality-related company
  • A positive mindset
  • A genuine passion for their role

W Edinburgh brings bold architecture and a vibrant lifestyle offering to the Scottish capital. Behind a façade featuring a winding steel ribbon – reflecting the city’s festival spirit – this 12-storey structure is the centrepiece of Edinburgh St James Quarter, incorporating retail, leisure, and entertainment facilities along with residential apartments.

This W hotel aims to help redefine the city’s hospitality landscape. Accordingly, it fuses the brand’s signature amenities with modern design and W Happenings, highlighting what’s new in design, fashion, music, and culture.

The new W hotel accommodates guests across 244 stylish guestrooms, including 45 suites. While staying here, guests benefit from the brand’s signature Whatever / Whenever service philosophy.
