We’re now looking for a Sales Expert – Commvault Backup Simple to drive awareness, growth, and adoption of this innovative solution across the UK. This is a strategic, cross-functional role that connects two global IT leaders and offers the opportunity to make a measurable impact in a fast-growing area of our business.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the strategy: Lead the go-to-market and sales approach for Backup Simple within SoftwareOne’s UK operations.
  • Drive growth: Identify opportunities, generate demand, and close deals to deliver recurring revenue.
  • Collaborate to win: Partner with SoftwareOne and Commvault teams to align sales plans and expand market reach.
  • Inspire confidence: Deliver engaging presentations, demos, and workshops for customers and internal teams.
  • Lead through influence: Build strong relationships with account managers, technical specialists, and key stakeholders.
  • Measure impact: Report progress, share insights, and help shape future initiatives through business reviews.

Job Requirements

  • Proven track record in IT or software sales, ideally in cloud, data protection, or managed services.
  • Solid understanding of backup and recovery technologies — knowledge of Commvault solutions is a strong advantage.
  • Skilled at solution selling and navigating complex sales cycles.
  • Strong communicator who can engage both technical and business audiences.
  • Experience working with partners, VARs, or MSPs is an advantage.
  • Passion for helping customers simplify, secure, and scale their data protection strategies.
