Are you a driven sales professional who thrives on building relationships, creating opportunities, and delivering results?

Coastland College is looking for an ambitious Sales & Growth Executive to play a key role in growing our employer partnerships, increasing apprenticeship opportunities, and driving revenue across our training and education offer.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused individual who enjoys winning new business, developing accounts, and making a genuine impact on businesses, apprentices, and the local economy.

About The Role

As a Sales & Growth Executive, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building strong employer relationships, and promoting the College's full range of apprenticeships, adult learning, and commercial training solutions. Working closely with employers across a variety of sectors, you will identify workforce needs, develop tailored training solutions, and support organisations to access high-quality skills development for their employees. You will also take ownership of the College's apprenticeship talent pool, proactively engaging with prospective apprentices, matching candidates to suitable vacancies, and helping employers find the talent they need to grow their business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business growth and achieve ambitious sales targets.
  • Build, manage, and develop a portfolio of employer accounts.
  • Promote apprenticeships, adult learning, and commercial training opportunities.
  • Develop tailored workforce development solutions for employers.
  • Manage apprenticeship vacancies and candidate recruitment activity.
  • Build and nurture a pipeline of apprenticeship-ready candidates.
  • Match and promote candidates to employer vacancies to maximise apprenticeship starts.
  • Maintain accurate records and performance data using CRM systems.
  • Represent the College at networking events, employer forums, and industry meetings.

About You

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

Essential

  • Experience in sales, business development, or account management.
  • A proven track record of achieving or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to generate leads, manage pipelines, and close opportunities.
  • A results-driven, proactive, and commercially focused approach.
  • Experience using CRM systems.
  • The ability to build strong relationships with both employers and learners.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
