Sales Host

- Hours: 20 hours per week

Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional experiences: Ensure every prospect, member, and guest’s interaction is a sales and retention opportunity.
- Drive sales & upsell: Proactively advance membership sales, renewals, upgrades, and secondary revenue—including food & beverage, retail, and fitness product sales.
- Close sales effectively: Convert inquiries into memberships with:
- Confident objection handling
- Needs-based selling
- Effective follow-ups
- Boost retention: Build strong relationships, identify at-risk members, and upsell services (e.g., packages, products) to enhance results.
- Tailor gym tours: Offer customized facility tours focused on individual goals and upsell relevant services.
- Meet KPIs: Consistently achieve (and exceed) personal and club targets.
- Operational support: Act as a keyholder during shifts, ensuring smooth opening, closing, and coverage.
- Train on tech: Learn and master membership software and operational systems (training provided).
- Promote engagement: Act as a brand ambassador for fitness challenges, fitness classes, and our Workout Wednesday initiative.
- Maintain excellence: Support operational excellence by:
- Keeping the gym clean and inviting
- Collaborating with the Head Coach on floor resets and tasks.
- Product knowledge: Strong understanding of all products and services.
- Handle queries & escalate: Professionally address member complaints, escalating to management when needed.

Requirements
- Personal qualities:
- Outgoing, confident, and positive
- Admin-adept ( capables of handling paperwork)
- Driven, ambitious, and proactive—keen for personal & role development
- Motivated to learn, embrace training, and advance professionally
- Willing to fulfil client needs and adopt keyholder responsibilities as required
- Passion: Fitness, sales, and customer service—must believe in making them an inspiration!
- Flexibility: Ready to fit shifts to business needs (including weekends & bank holidays).
- Business focus: Target-driven for sales/retention to meet club targets.
