Sales & Guest Experience Lead – Everlast Gyms

About the Role

This full-time (40 hours per week) role is essential for driving membership sales, retention, and secondary spend while providing a seamless, inspiring experience to all gym visitors.


Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional experiences: Ensure every interaction with prospects, members, and guests is an opportunity for sales, upselling, and long-term retention.
  • Proactively drive growth: Achieve target-led sales of membership renewals, product upgrades, and secondary offerings (food/drink, retail, fitness products).
  • Convert enquiries into memberships: Master confident objection handling, needs-based consultative selling, and effective follow-ups.
  • Boost member retention: Build strong relationships, identify at-risk members, and proactively recommend tailored services and products.
  • Tailored gym tours & upselling: Deliver personalised facility tours that align with a member’s goals and upsell aligned services.
  • Exceed KPIs: Consistently meet and exceed individual performance targets and club-level sales and retention objectives.
  • Key holder / shift management: Act as a competent key holder, ensuring smooth operations during opening, closing, and shift coverage.
  • Master business systems: Learn and effectively utilise membership software and operational tools (training provided).
  • Brand ambassador: Actively participate in fitness challenges, class concepts, and Workout Wednesday initiatives to drive engagement.
  • Maintain operational excellence:
    • Keep gym spaces clean, well-presented, and hygienic, meeting and exceeding standards.
    • Assist the Head Coach with tasks such as gym resets, equipment organisation, and ad-hoc fitness duties (both on and off the floor).
  • Product & service knowledge: Stay informed about all on-site products and tailor recommendations to member needs.
  • Professional complaint handling: Address member queries and complaints promptly and appropriately, escalating unresolved issues.
