Job Description:
Elwood is offering the chance to join our global sales team, based in London for a fixed period of 8 weeks over the Summer. This is a hands-on outbound sales internship. You will work directly with senior sales leadership and see first hand how a fintech company grows and sells software to institutional clients.
If you are interested in a career in fintech or technology sales, tradfi sales or account management, or want to learn about digital assets, this is a rare chance to gain real commercial experience whilst completing your studies.
What you will do:
- Learn Elwood's ideal client profile and how we identify and prioritise target accounts
- Work with senior leadership on outreach, meeting booking, demo support and deal follow up
- Research prospects and build target lists using LinkedIn, AI tools and market data
- Support the sales team across the full client journey, from first touch to onboarding
- Work alongside Marketing on campaigns and outbound messaging
- Learn Elwood's product and go-to-market methodology
- Run a specific assigned project with real commercial output
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Marketing and Product
Knowledge and skills:
- Creative problem solver with strong analytical skills
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal
- Effective listener with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
- Strong IT skills including GSuite
- AI/Claude, LinkedIn and growth hacking skills a plus, but can be taught
- Positive, professional and hungry to learn

Eligibility:
- Current Undergraduate or Graduate in Economics/Business or Finance based subject with an interest in client facing roles
- A real passion for financial technology, TradFi and/or Cryptocurrencies
- A creative thinker and problem solver
- Must be able to legally live and work in the UK without visa support or sponsorship (student visas or visas obtained on your own are not applicable for the program)
