Sales Lead
Head of Commercial (Commercial Growth Lead)
£60,000 base + bonus (OTE £130,000) Hybrid UK Travel Required

You’ll:
- Take ownership of major commercial relationships
- Shape wholesale strategy as the company scales nationally
- Work closely with senior leadership to drive strategic decisions
- Negotiate partnerships and play a key role in growing an innovative healthcare sector
Success here comes with a target earnings potential of £130,000.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Growth
- Drive sales revenue, margins, and growth targets
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with business goals
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across:
- Medical cannabis clinics
- Pharmacists and wholesalers
- Healthcare providers
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and provide forecast accuracy
- Monitor market trends, competitor moves, and emerging opportunities
Key Account Management
- Develop and strengthen relationships with high-value accounts
- Lead negotiations on contracts, supply agreements, and partnerships
- Increase product penetration and commercial performance within existing accounts
- Implement category and portfolio strategies to drive growth

Customer Engagement
- Act as a trusted business partner for clinics, pharmacists, and prescribing organisations
- Present new product launches, promotions, and commercial initiatives
- Gather customer insights to inform product development and strategy
Sales Leadership
- Champion sales processes, reporting, and performance management
- Mentor and coach junior team members as the organisation scales
- Collaborate with:
- Operations
- Logistics
- Regulatory and pharmacy teams
- Ensure top-notch customer service across all functions
Compliance
- Adhere to MHRA, Home Office, GDP, and pharmaceutical wholesale regulations
- Uphold ethical and compliant practices in all commercial activities
Requirements
Essential
- Proven track record in B2B sales, account management, or business development
- Experience managing strategic accounts and delivering revenue growth
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyse sales data and translate insights into actionable strategy
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder relationship skills
- Self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Holder of a full UK driving licence with a willingness to travel
