Sales Lead

Full time, 36.75 Hours per week
Permanent Contract
Full-time equivalent £29,429.40 per annum + Incentives* (Inclusive of £0.90 per hour, store specific location allowance) + Pension + 6.6 Weeks Holiday

What's the job?

Your role as a Sales Lead is to support the Sales Team Manager to create a truly inclusive high performing team across Showroom and Tradepoint. It’s B&Q’s ambition to make every customer count, so you will support the day-to day activities that will enable the team to exceed sales targets through ensuring a fantastic end to end customer experience.   • Support the day-to-day activities that will enable the team to exceed sales targets.
  • Make sure colleagues are deployed correctly to ‘make every customer count’ throughout your shift.
  • Be the first point of contact for customers and colleague escalations in Showrooms + TradePoint.
  • Support the Sales Team Manager with collation of analytical data to make informed decisions.

What we need:

Our sales leads are key to running our business through our Showroom and Tradepoint sales teams. In this role, we’re looking for the following qualities:

  • Role model customer service and enjoy customer interactions.
  • Comfortable with IT systems and applications.
  • Like to analyse data and can see the important information to communicate.
  • Love to problem solve, the trickier the better.
  • Well planned and organised, with the ability to prioritise and think on your feet.
