Sales Lead

Sales Lead – Medical Cannabis Wholesaler (UK Hiring)

About the Role

As Sales Lead, you’ll drive revenue, forge key relationships, and navigate a fast-moving, compliant healthcare sector. You’ll need to balance strategic insight with hands-on execution: if you crave a role where every day brings new challenges and impact, this is it.

Key Responsibilities

1. Commercial Growth

  • Own the sales pipeline, hitting revenue, margin, and growth targets
  • Develop and refine a forward-looking sales strategy aligned with Montu UK’s expansion plans
  • Prospect and close new business with medical cannabis clinics, pharmacies, wholesalers, and healthcare providers
  • Forecast with precision and passion, spotting marketplace shifts before competitors

2. Key Account Management

  • Turn whistle-cold leads into long-term partners: Negotiate multi-year agreements, expand product penetration, and drive volume growth
  • Act as the public face of Montu, representing the brand to prescribing organisations and regulatory bodies
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders while enforcing commercial safeguards

3. Customer Engagement

  • Perform like a commercial Ambassador: Present new product launches, promotions, and supply innovations with technical rigor and confidence
  • Deliver high-value business insights back to your team, shaping Mont’s portfolio and entry into larger wholesale markets

4. Sales Leadership

  • Mentor and develop your team as the sales force scales (remote collaboration and coaching tools provided!)
  • Work across operations, logistics, compliance, and pharmacy teams to ensure a seamless customer experience

5. Compliance & Regulatory Stewardship

  • Never compromise on ethics or legalities—every deal and sideline must adhere to medical cannabis wholesale guidelines
  • Partner with the compliance team to monitor regulatory changes live and stay ahead of them

What You Bring

Essential

✔ Unmatched B2B sales acumen: Proven track record in account management, business development, or pond-scale sales (measured in million $$\£$$ reigns!) ✔ Cosy with negotiation: Experience delivering win-win deals that grow both customer’s business and yours ✔ Data-driven: Ability to slice and dice sales metrics to uncover insights, forecast accurately, and act decisively ✔ Stakeholder zen: dezelfde confidence whether you’re chatting with a local pharmacy or a regional wholesaler elite ✔ Champion energy: Thrives in high-growth environments without burning out— UK licence & willingness to travel essential

Desirable (but not mandatory)

➕ Direct or adjacent experience in medical cannabis, pharmaceuticals, or regulated healthcare ➕ Existing network ties to UK medical cannabis clinics, pharmacies, or wholesalers ➕ Supply chain savvy: Familiar with the intricacies of medical cannabis wholesale (unpleasant surprises avoided) ➕ Successful new product launch experience—for your dreams to scale too, huh?
