Sales Ledger and Credit Control Assistant — The Guardian

We're now seeking a Sales Ledger and Credit Control Assistant to assist in all aspects of the sales ledger process, from billing to reporting and month-end processes.
About the Role
- Ensure accurate and timely manual billing is delivered to weekly/monthly deadlines (UK focus)
- Manage daily DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) reporting and communicate findings to the team (UK)
- Handle the credit control inbox in accordance with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Oversee the onboarding process for new customers
- Manage and run the daily, weekly, and monthly document distribution workflows
- Review and **enhance existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as workflows evolve
- Perform ad hoc tasks as required
About You
We’re looking for a strong ally with:
Experience & Technical Knowledge
- Proven experience within an Accounts Receivable (AR) or Sales Ledger environment
- Salesforce experience
- Working knowledge of Oracle
- Preference for experience within publishing or digital media industries

Skills & Attributes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to demonstrate high levels of Customer Service
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
- Organised, disciplined, and meticulous with attention to detail
- Strong working knowledge of Excel
Working Arrangement
You will work in a hybrid environment, attending our King’s Cross offices 3 days a week and working remotely 2 days a week.
