Sales Ledger Controller - High Wycombe
Modern offices, free parking and within easy reach of all public transport routes
Office-Based, 5 Days/Week in the office
Salary Guide: £26,000 - £30,000, depending on experience
Are you a motivated, enthusiastic sales ledger individual with a few years of experience and looking for a role where your work truly makes an impact? Our client is a friendly, multi-site, expanding business, with their Head Office in High Wycombe, and they're seeking a Sales Ledger Controller to join their team full-time in the office. This is more than just a role - it's a chance to take ownership of client accounts, build strong relationships, and be part of a team that values your ideas and contribution.
What you'll do as their Sales Ledger Specialist:
- Allocating payments (each member of the team processing around 800-1000 payments per month within the team) ensuring you are keeping cash flow healthy and accounts on track
- Reconcile accounts, and resolve discrepancies efficiently and promptly
- Handle invoicing, statements, scanning, and filing with accuracy
- Raising invoices, issuing credit notes, and posting payments
- Working closely with the Sales Ledger Manager and the Sales Ledger team, to ensure all accounts are chased as and when required
- Resolving any queries, and raising credit notes as and when required, and communicate accordingly with the wider business, to resolve any issues
- Maintain accurate records and all communications for clarity and accountability
- Build strong client relationships, ensuring smooth payment processes always

Who we are looking for, for this Sales Ledger role:
- Someone with proven Sales Ledger or finance experience who enjoys taking ownership of their work
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and a natural problem solver
- Confident and professional communicator with a positive, proactive attitude
- A team player who thrives in a friendly, collaborative environment
- Someone looking for long-term stability and career progression within a growing business
- Strong systems skills - Excel and previous use of various accounting packages will be advantageous here

Desired Skills and Experience
- Recent UK Sales Ledger and Cash allocations experience is essential - potentially 1-2 years or more. You must be a UK resident
