Sales Ledger Royalty Specialist

The Role
We’re seeking a Sales Ledger Royalty Specialist to join our 12-month fixed-term contract team. Reporting directly to the Sales Ledger Manager, your core purpose will be to support the critical Royalties & FAST billing project for Global Partnerships.
This dynamic, high-impact role requires you to take ownership of the end-to-end FAST Royalty billing and reporting cycle. Balancing precise data alignment with parent-system compliance, you will help:
- Challenge the status quo
- Streamline work practices
- Ensure the integrity of royalty accounts
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the end-to-end FAST Royalty billing process to ensure seamless operational workflows.
- Review all FAST Royalty statements and strictly align them with active licence agreements.
- Prepare necessary working files and reporting data for FAST via the WHIP platform.
- Accurately enter FAST Royalty statements into our core rights management system (PARIS).
- Raise FAST Royalty invoices and process corresponding cash allocations for FAST Royalty licences.
- Collaborate with the wider finance team to:
- Drive continuous improvement
- Enhance transactional efficiency
- Reduce manual billing effort
- Ensure sales ledger and billing activities comply with corporate credit and audit controls.

Skills You’ll Need (Minimum Criteria)
- Proven experience in a sales ledger environment, ideally within a high-volume transactional service centre.
- Strong numerical skills with:
- A practical grasp of sub-ledger double-entry accounting
- Clear understanding of end-to-end financial processes and workflows.
- Solid ERP system knowledge (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including:
- Comfort with VLOOKUPs
- Mastery of Pivot Tables
- Exceptional attention to detail, paired with:
- Strong accuracy
- A motivating focus on financial performance improvement.
