Are you an experienced Sales Manager, Assistant Manager or customer-focused sales leader looking for a new opportunity with excellent earning potential and a great work-life balance?
We are recruiting for a Sales Manager to join a growing business in Wilmslow. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships with customers, converting enquiries into sales and taking ownership of the performance of a busy store.
The Role
As Sales Manager, you will take responsibility for driving sales performance, delivering excellent customer service and ensuring the store is presented to a consistently high standard. This is a varied and hands-on role where you will manage customer enquiries by phone, email and face to face, identify the right solution and convert leads into reservations and new customers.
You will be the face of the store, building relationships with personal, business and local trade customers while helping to increase revenue, improve conversion and support the continued growth of the site. The role will involve weekend working as part of the rota, although there are no late evenings.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
