Martyn Gerrard is an award-winning, long-established independent estate agency covering North & North West London. With expertise across Residential Sales, Lettings, Commercial and New Homes, we've built our reputation by investing in our people and promoting from within wherever possible.

As part of our exciting growth plans, we're looking for an enthusiastic Sales Manager to lead our Mill Hill office. This area has strong potential, and we're investing in marketing, digital advertising, and technology to help our Sales Manager grow market share and build a high-performing team.

The Role:

As our Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for growing market share, leading and developing your team, winning instructions, and delivering exceptional customer service. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll combine business development with coaching, motivation and performance management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow Martyn Gerrard's market share within the local area
  • Lead, coach and inspire a team of Sales Negotiators
  • Deliver outstanding market appraisals to win new instructions
  • Build strong relationships with vendors, buyers and prospective clients
  • Drive the branch's digital marketing and social media presence
  • Negotiate offers and manage sales through to exchange
  • Monitor team performance and support ongoing learning and development
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and company procedures
  • Identify new business opportunities and help shape local marketing strategies

Is this you?

An experienced Sales Manager who is ambitious, embraces technology, enjoys creating content on social media, loves building relationships, and wants to be part of a modern, forward-thinking estate agency that rewards results and promotes from within.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' experience as a Sales Manager within estate agency
  • A proven track record of winning instructions and delivering results
  • A positive, ambitious and proactive attitude
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Confidence using social media and digital marketing to generate business and build your profile
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and sales progression skills
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to motivate others while delivering an exceptional customer experience
