Sales & Retention Manager – Clubs
As a Sales & Retention Manager, you’ll drive membership growth, maximise retention, and ensure a seamless member experience. Reporting to the General Manager, this full-time leadership role focuses on sales strategy implementation, team support, and fostering strong member relationships—both onsite and beyond the gym.
What You’ll Be Doing
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading sales performance: Advocating and delivering the FUNDAMENTALS sales process, along with training and coaching the team to achieve peak performance.
- Growing member numbers: Driving new member sales while prioritising retention to maximise live member movement.
- Club activity planning: Owning the activity planner, ensuring strategically aligned initiatives are executed effectively with measurable impact.
- Innovating lead generation: Developing and implementing both internal and external strategies to capture member interest.
- Data-driven decision making: Monitoring sales dashboards and KPIs to provide actionable insights, holding the team accountable for targets while spotting opportunities.
- Boosting revenue: Optimising all income streams, including memberships, products, and secondary spend to enhance profitability.
- Sales reporting: Preparing and delivering monthly sales presentations to senior management for strategy alignment.
- Business development: Building key local partnerships to unlock #WeMoveBusinesses opportunities, including corporate account growth.
- Frontline leadership: Setting the standard for sales excellence as an ambassador on reception and throughout the gym floor.
- Brand engagement: Participating in national campaigns such as #WorkoutWednesday and #WeCommunicate.
- Team development: Delivering honest, constructive feedback to refine performance and support professional growth.
- General operations support: Assisting the General Manager with:
- Health & safety compliance
- Facilities and maintenance
- Recruitment
- Presentation standards
