Role Description
The Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Manchester Area, United Kingdom. This position is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, managing a portfolio of existing clients, and promoting Marvellous Security Services’ tailored security solutions.
Day-to-day tasks include:
- Meeting with prospective and current clients
- Preparing and delivering sales proposals and presentations
- Negotiating contracts and pricing
- Collaborating with operations teams to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations

The Sales Manager will track sales performance, maintain accurate records in CRM systems, analyze market trends, and provide regular sales forecasts and reports to leadership. The role also involves representing the company at industry events and contributing to the development of sales strategies and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications
- Strong sales, business development, and account management skills, with a proven ability to generate new business and grow existing client relationships.
- Experience in B2B services sales, ideally within security, facilities management, or related industries, with solid contract negotiation and proposal development skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and long-standing professional partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
- Sound commercial awareness, market analysis, and strategic planning abilities to identify opportunities and align solutions with client needs.
- Proficiency with CRM software and basic office applications (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, presentations) to manage pipelines and reporting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, work to targets, and handle multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with operations and management teams to ensure solutions are tailored and delivered to agreed standards.
- Prior experience leading or mentoring sales teams is beneficial, with a focus on performance management and coaching.
- Knowledge of security services, risk management, or related sectors is an advantage, along with familiarity with UK regulatory and compliance considerations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in a similar role.
