Sales Manager

Sales Manager (UK & MENA) – Consultancy & Data Science Solutions

About the Role

The Sales Manager (UK & MENA) will lead promotional, marketing, and distribution strategies to grow revenue. Your core role involves:

  • Market Expansion & Development: Leading revenue growth through distributor management, new business acquisition, and tailored consultancy enterprise sales services.
  • Client & Distributor Training: Delivering high-value training and consultancy in data science, econometrics, qualitative & quantitative research, and forecasting—empowering clients and distributors to build analytical insights.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Overseeing the entire sales process—prospecting to closing, and post-sale support to ensure long-term customer success.
  • Fieldwork & Engagement: Based in Kew Gardens with regular travel to the Middle East, USA, and UK for client meetings, events, and networking.

Key Responsibilities

Sales UK & MENA

  • Key Account & Target Account Management:

    • Build and maintain relationships as the primary point of contact for crucial accounts (in-person and virtual).
    • Drive revenue targets through tailored strategic sales plans.
  • Business Development:

    • Conduct prospecting, demos, and new business pitches to identify growth opportunities.
    • Expand accounts and upsell products, licenses, and training services.
    • Act as an ambassador for the brand, clearly articulating solutions to clients/partners.

  • Analytics & Reporting:

    • Produce distributor performance, market trend, and sales forecast reports.
    • Use analytical tools to pinpoint growth opportunities and present insights to management/clients.
    • Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual governance sales targets.
  • Leadership in Sales Process:

    • Lead end-to-end sales processes (discovery to contract negotiation).
    • Maintain a sound pipeline, ensure timely follow-ups, and accurate forecasting.
    • Organise quarterly in-person events across territories to promote software & solutions.
  • Market Engagement:

    • Attend industry events, webinars, and networking opportunities.
    • Support newsoftware releases and marketing efforts.
    • Create proposals/presentations highlighting ROI and value proposition.
  • Performance Tracking:

    • Track sales activity and report monthly on strategy, figures, and performance to executives.

Sales & Training Consultancy

  • Extend sales & consultancy strategies for UK & MENA territories.
    • Recruit potential training consultancy clients and distribute demographics.
  • Develop proactive client relationships, delivering superior consultancy & training experiences.
  • Maintain bi-annual feedback on weekly sales performance reports.

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 3+ years in B2B Sales with:
    • Focus on key account management, especially in software or technology sectors.
    • Proven track record in enterprise sales, SaaS, or complex technology solutions.
  • High Performance Traits:
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and bilingual skills (nodevanced languages advantageous).
    • Strong presentation, organisation, and project management abilities.
    • Ability to understand pain points and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Technical Salesforce Knowledge: Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Self-starter with initiative—proactively drive growth in fast-paced industry environments.
  • Professional Credentials:
    • Degrees: Bachelor's in Business/Related Field – or equivalent experience.
    • Experience: 3+ years of sales experience (with technology preference).
  • Mobility & Career Commitment:
    • Commitment to frequent domestic/international travel (especially the USA & Middle East).
    • Strategic matches for employee mentorship and tapping talent acquisition.
