Sales Manager – Head of Education Hybrid | Manchester, Leeds or Birmingham Competitive Salary (DOE) + Uncapped Commission + Excellent Benefits

Are you an experienced sales leader with a passion for the Education sector? Do you have a proven track record of building and developing high-performing sales teams within the VAR or MSP market?

I'm partnering with a highly successful and well-established technology solutions provider to recruit a Sales Manager – Head of Education. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead an established Public Sector sales function, driving growth across schools, colleges, universities and multi-academy trusts. With an excellent reputation, strong vendor partnerships and ambitious growth plans, this organisation is investing heavily in its Education division and is looking for a leader who can help shape the next phase of its success.

The Role

You'll take ownership of the Education sales function, leading and developing a team of experienced Account Managers and Business Development professionals. Your focus will be on driving sustainable revenue growth, developing go-to-market strategies, coaching your team to maximise performance and strengthening relationships across the Education sector. Working closely with senior leadership, pre-sales, marketing and technical specialists, you'll help position the business as a trusted technology partner across networking, cloud, cyber security, modern workplace, managed services and professional services.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
