Job Purpose, Tasks & Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, recruiting, and developing a team of Account Executives and SDRs, driving performance against targets
  • Setting sales strategies, scripts, and processes to maximise team effectiveness
  • Monitoring pipelines, call activity, and sales metrics, identifying areas for improvement
  • Delivering regular coaching, feedback, and performance management
  • Managing and growing a portfolio of key client accounts, enhancing relationships and revenue
  • Handling escalated customer issues to ensure positive and commercially sound outcomes
  • Producing and presenting detailed sales reports and insights for decision-makers
  • Identifying upsell, cross-sell, and new business opportunities

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in leading and developing a successful sales team
  • Strong record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including influence at all levels
  • Confidence using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), Excel, and digital sales platforms (e.g., Teams, Zoom)
  • Track record in stakeholder management and performance reporting
  • Demonstratable success in a similar leadership role, including remote team management
