Job Summary: Regional Sales Manager FFS

We seek a dynamic, results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead sustainable growth, partner deeply with customers, and champion exceptional service—from qualification to long-term success. Responsibilities include analysis, collaboration, and execution, leveraging technological and interpersonal expertise to advance opportunities and customer relationships.


Responsibilities

Strategic Sales & Customer Development

  • Systematically planner-mapped and strategically question prospects to uncover needs, positioning yourself as a Trusted Advisor.
  • Drive opportunities through all sales stages, crafting tailored recommendations backed by post-call reviews.
  • Deeply understand sales transactions/patterns, including won/PELOST reasons, close rates, and pipeline health, to identify opportunities and develop action plans.

CRM & Data-Driven Performance

  • Mastery of CRM systems to maintain accurate forecasts, align activity with goals, and translate insights into actionable plans.
  • “Know your numbers better than anyone else”—efficiently analyze financials (i.e., margins) to secure buy-in across the organization.

Cross-Functional Collab & Representation

  • Work as one team with internal teams (sales, marketing, engineering) to deliver profitable, enduring growth while elevating customer experience.
  • Actively representing BW Packaging at trade shows, conferences, and industry events, contributing to marketing efforts.

Continuous Learning & Integration

  • Stay cutting-edge by reviewing industry publications, networking, and participating in profession communities.
  • 50%+ travel required to visit customers, attend events, and participate in workshops.

Communication & Leadership

  • Articulate complex opportunities and financials clearly for internal/external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and initiative to inspire teams and build trust.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

✔ Proven sales success (measurable achievements, metrics, KPIs). ✔ Proficiency in CRM platforms and leveraging data for decision-making. ✔ Packaging or capital equipment sales experience preferred; engineering background beneficial. ✔ Demonstrates core values of Barry-Wehmiller (e.g., customer centricity, accountability).
