Sales Manager

Portfolio Commercial Manager

šŸ’°Ā£55,000- Ā£60,000 + Commission šŸ“Location: Central London (Hybrid)

We are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Portfolio Commercial Manager to lead the sales strategy and revenue delivery across a portfolio of exhibitions.

This is a hands-on player-manager role responsible for developing commercial growth plans, managing a high-performing sales team, and driving revenue through sponsorship, key account management, customer retention, and new business development.

The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping commercial strategy while actively contributing to sales performance and building long-term client relationships.

As Portfolio Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for creating and delivering commercial plans aligned with wider business objectives, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring the achievement of revenue targets across the portfolio.

Alongside leading and developing the sales team, you will retain ownership of key accounts and strategic commercial opportunities, helping to maximise engagement and profitability.

Key Responsibilitiesāœ…

Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals. Create and deliver robust commercial strategies that drive revenue growth and customer retention. Set clear sales objectives, monitor performance, and implement initiatives to maximise commercial success. Champion best practice CRM usage, ensuring accurate data management, pipeline visibility, forecasting, and reporting. Manage strategic key accounts and develop long-term client relationships. Generate new business opportunities through proactive sales activity and market engagement. Oversee commercial planning and inventory management. Build a strong network within relevant business communities and maintain awareness of market developments and emerging trends. Conduct meetings with clients and prospects via phone, video conferencing, and face-to-face interactions. Prepare compelling partnership and sponsorship proposals. Leverage AI-driven tools and insights to enhance sales effectiveness, customer engagement, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision making. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

About YoušŸ‘‡

You are an experienced sales professional with strong leadership capabilities, excellent commercial instincts, and a proven ability to deliver results.

Experience managing complex sales pipelines and commercial forecasts. The ability to build and nurture senior-level client relationships. Experience developing detailed commercial proposals and partnership opportunities. Knowledge of CRM systems, ideally HubSpot or similar platforms. An interest in using AI and technology to improve commercial performance. High levels of attention to detail and professionalism. A strategic and creative approach to problem-solving. A self-motivated, results-oriented mindset.
