A leading supplier of speciality chemicals and raw materials to the personal care, cosmetics and wider life science industry is currently looking to hire a sales manager to their team.
With dedicated sales / account management experience from a chemical supplier or manufacturer, with specific personal care industry experience, you will join the well established team as they continue their growth within the UK.
This is a remote role which will involve travel to customer sites, networking events, trade shows and the occasional visit to head office in Warrington.

What you will do:
- Maintain existing business and develop new business with selected customers
- Achieve or exceed agreed sales targets
- Provide high-quality customer service
- Stay up to date with market developments and emerging trends, using this knowledge to identify opportunities and support business growth
- Maintain a strong awareness of competitor activity and market share movements
- Attend and actively participate in training, exhibitions and industry events to strengthen industry knowledge, relationships and business opportunities
- Work with the local and group marketing teams to promote products
- Support the Senior Commercial Manager to achieve the goals and budget

What you will need:
- BSc qualification ideally within life sciences
- SCS Diploma (preferable)
- Personal care / cosmetic Industry experience (essential)
- Sales / account management / commercial experience (essential)
- Strong IT skills (essential)
- Full UK driving license (essential)
- Strong team player, able to build relationships across all levels
- Proactive, target-driven and commercially aware
