Sales Manager
Alchem Partners are excited to be partnered with a growing chemical business based in the North West. Specialising in both the distribution and manufacture of a number of chemical products and offering an impressive wide range of chemical manufacturing capabilities on behalf of its customer base.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and driven sales professional to manage and drive their CASE division across the UK. You will be responsible for managing and nurturing existing business, as well as identifying and developing new, strategic opportunities
. Responsibilitie
s Focus on the strategic identification and execution of new business opportunit iesTo discuss with both the technical and commercial departments of the contract customers to gain as much knowledge of product uses and the wider industry as possible to be able to advise them to ensure they retain their customers but also to help with potential further projec ts.Ensure sharing of information with the sales team to identify potential opportuniti es.Use application and industry knowledge to identify potential new marke ts.Follow up leads from the website, incoming enquiries and from any other sour ce.Attend UK exhibitions, as required, and follow up lea ds.Ensure all activity is recorded and communicated within the business in a timely mann er.Maintain and improve the quality of servi ce.Keep up to date on applications, the competition, the market and the developments within the company and its technical capabiliti es.Travel, as required, within the

date Ideally hold a technical/chemistry bias educ ationProven experience within a sales role within the chemical manufacturing/distribution spaceIdeally you will have specific CASE (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, Elastomers) experience but not essen tial.You will have strong communication skills, a great ability to build and nurture strong working relationships and have a problem solving menta
