Sales Manager – Combined Heat & Power (CHP)

Location: UK Remote (with occasional travel to a regional office site, once or twice monthly)

Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About Our Client

Our client is a well-established engineering and energy business specialising in combined heat and power (CHP) units and sustainable energy solutions. Backed by a global parent group with a presence in over 130 countries, their UK operation has grown rapidly and now offers a broad portfolio including the design, installation, and servicing of CHP systems alongside renewable technologies such as solar PV and battery energy storage. They are on an exciting growth journey and looking for a talented Sales Manager to help drive it forward.

The Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to lead their sales team and drive the growth strategy for their CHP solutions across the UK. You'll bring a strong background in sales management, deep knowledge of the energy sector, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to exceed revenue targets for CHP solutions in the UK.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry influencers.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with marketing on sales campaigns and promotional materials.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management.

  • Demonstrable experience in a senior sales management role within the energy sector, ideally with CHP or related technologies.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong network in the UK energy sector.
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (desirable).
