We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive new business growth across the UK insurance market while leading and developing sales capability within the function. This is a commercially focused role with personal revenue responsibility. You may come from a SaaS/technology sales background with experience selling into insurance markets, or you may be a senior claims or insurance professional with strong supply chain execution knowledge and a proven commercial track record. This role is designed to harness both profiles with clear pathways depending on your background. Location: Remote within the UK, with weekly travel to London (2/3 times per week) Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 DOE (Commission structure to be discussed) Team: You will become a member of our Commercial team, reporting to the Commercial Director.

What you will be doing: Generate and close new business opportunities Own and manage a high-quality sales pipeline Lead outbound prospecting strategy and execution Deliver compelling presentations and system demonstrations Lead negotiations including commercial terms, pricing, operating models and contracts Support and lead RFI/RFP and tender submissions Identify cross-sell and strategic partnership opportunities Represent the business at industry events and forum Ensure effective transfer of closed deals to account management Contribute to sales strategy and regional growth planning Introduce new approaches (e.g. data-driven sales, ecosystem partnerships) Maintain robust CRM governance, reporting and forecasting discipline We recognise that strong Sales Managers in this space may come from either SaaS or insurance backgrounds. If You Come from a SaaS / Technology Sales Background You are likely: An experienced SaaS sales professional with full-cycle deal ownership Comfortable selling complex solutions into regulated industries Experienced managing longer sales cycles with multiple stakeholders Confident leading negotiations and closing opportunities Experienced in pipeline forecasting and CRM governance In this version of the role, you will: Lead SaaS sales of the Synergy Claims Platform into the UK insurance market Build and execute a structured new business acquisition plan Help scale a repeatable, data-driven sales process across the region Strong insurance market exposure is highly advantageous, but deep operational claims experience is not essential if you understand enterprise SaaS sales. If You Come from a Claims / Insurance Background You are likely: A senior claims, operations or supply chain leader Experienced in insurer, MGA, broker or TPA environments Knowledgeable in claims execution, performance management and supply chain governance Familiar with regulatory requirements and data management Experienced contributing to tenders, pricing models or commercial strategy Comfortable engaging with board-level and operational decision-makers In this version of the role, you will: Leverage your market credibility and network to open strategic doors Translate operational challenges into compelling SaaS solutions Lead senior-level commercial conversations with claims and operations leaders Support development of commercially robust proposals and tenders Strengthen brand presence and thought leadership within the market While you may not have worked directly in the SaaS market, you must demonstrate strong commercial instincts, leadership capability, and accountability for revenue growth. A strong understanding of claims supply chain execution is essential in this pathway.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
