The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive business growth across the UK, developing relationships with electrical wholesalers, contractors and distribution partners.
This role is ideal for someone with experience selling technical products into the electrical industry. Whilst EV charging experience would be advantageous, we are equally interested in candidates from adjacent sectors such as lighting, electrical heating, fire & security, cable management or other electrical products where established wholesaler and contractor relationships are transferable.

Reporting into the Commercial Leadership Team, you'll take ownership of developing new business opportunities while growing existing customer accounts across your territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a regional sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Generate new business opportunities through electrical wholesalers, contractors, installers and distribution partners.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers.
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts through regular engagement and account planning.
- Deliver product presentations and demonstrations where required.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and customer records using the CRM system.
- Produce regular sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
- Work closely with internal technical, customer service and operations teams to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities.
- Represent the business at customer meetings, exhibitions and industry events.
About You
You'll be a commercially driven sales professional with a proven ability to build strong customer relationships and consistently deliver results.
You'll ideally have experience within one or more of the following sectors:
- EV Charging
- Electrical Wholesale
- Electrical Contractors
- Lighting
- Electrical Heating
- Fire & Security
- Cable Management
- Electrical Products
- Building Services

You'll also have:
- Proven B2B sales experience with a strong track record of winning new business.
- Experience working with electrical wholesalers and contractor networks.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and relationship-building ability.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own territory.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Package
- Competitive salary dependent on experience.
- Quarterly commission structure.
- Electric company car.
- 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
- Additional day's annual leave for each completed year of service.

Working Pattern
- Remote, field-based position.
- UK territory.
- Typically 2–3 days per week visiting customers.
- Remaining time working remotely managing customer relationships, quotations and pipeline activity.
