What You’ll Be Doing
As an Event Sales Manager, you’ll take full ownership of 2–3 major B2B events per year, along with their associated media, newsletter, and digital platforms. This is a 360° commercial role where you’ll manage the full sales cycle, key client relationships, and deliver an exceptional event experience from start to finish.
This role is ideal for a driven sales professional who wants ownership, autonomy, and uncapped earning potential.
Your day might include:
- Managing your own event revenue and achieving/exceeding sales targets
- Building a strong pipeline through proactive outreach, cold calling, and targeted campaigns
- Running confident consultative sales calls with new and existing clients
- Developing relationships with decision-makers and negotiating high-value deals
- Using CRM and sales processes effectively and consistently
- Leading pre-event planning, communication, and commercial delivery
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure client expectations are met
- Delivering an exceptional onsite experience and securing a strong rebook percentage
- Attending industry events to build networks and understand market trends
- Supporting other events across the wider portfolio as needed

Who You Are
You’re a driven, commercially minded sales professional who wants autonomy, ownership, and the ability to earn well above your basic salary.
You are:
- Experienced (minimum 2 years B2B sales, preferably events, media, or subscriptions)
- Proven in meeting and exceeding revenue targets
- Confident on the phone and great at building rapport quickly
- Strong in negotiation, objection handling, and closing deals
- Able to manage both new business development and ongoing client accounts
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable owning your pipeline
- Motivated by success, progression, and financial reward
- A positive team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment

Additional skills ideal for this role
- Ability to run discovery calls and deliver persuasive sales presentations
- Comfortable hosting virtual or in-person client meetings
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to position value-based solutions
- Skilled in using LinkedIn and digital tools for outreach and lead generation
- Able to adapt quickly to industry changes and event requirements
- Confidence in handling long sales cycles with multiple decision-makers

- Salary: Up to £30K
- OTE: £50,000+ with uncapped overperformance commission
