We're looking for an experienced sales professional to lead the sale of our new homes and shared ownership properties. Combining commercial focus with a customer-first approach, you'll drive sales performance while helping more customers achieve homeownership.

About the role

As Sales Manager, you'll help deliver Selwood Housing’s shared ownership sales programme, helping customers on their shared ownership journey, while delivering strong sales performance.

You'll oversee the end-to-end sales process, from pre-launch marketing through to legal completion, ensuring customers receive a customer-focused experience at every stage.

You will work closely with internal teams and external partners, use your market knowledge to support the shared ownership sales function.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced property sales professional to combine commercial success with meaningful social impact.

What we’re looking for:

We're looking for an experienced sales professional who shares our values and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer experiences while achieving strong results:

  • Customer Driven You put customers at the heart of everything you do, building positive relationships and guiding them through the shared ownership journey with confidence, professionalism, and care.

  • Accountability You take ownership of sales performance, working with the sales advisers to manage the customer journey from marketing and reservation through to legal completion, while ensuring targets, compliance requirements, and service standards are met.

  • Develop & Learn You stay up to date with housing market trends, shared ownership requirements, and industry best practice, continuously looking for ways to improve performance and the customer experience.

  • Champion Communication You communicate clearly and build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, solicitors, mortgage advisers, and external partners, working collaboratively to deliver successful sales outcomes.

You’ll bring:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths, or the ability to demonstrate equivalent skills and experience.
  • Experience in shared ownership and/or new homes sales.
  • A track record of marketing shared ownership and/or market sale homes.
  • Knowledge of the conveyance processes and multi-tenure agreements.
  • Track record of managing the legal process to sell a home from reservation to completion.
  • A commitment to Equality and Diversity.

Pre-employment requirements

The successful candidate will be required to complete a Right to Work check. Additionally, the successful candidate must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for business use.
