Job Summary To expand our EMEA business we are looking for a home-office based Sales manager in the United Kingdom to grow our sales of food additives like acidulants, amino acids, preservatives, antioxidants, hydrocolloids, phosphates, sweeteners, and plant-based proteins.
Responsibilities Together with global- and regional product managers develop the targeted product portfolio and market segments to obtain sustainable & profitable growth Develop and execute commercial strategy & plan covering dedicated countries/regions, products, volumes and sales targets Execution of the sales strategy, develop and grow the commercial relationships of existing customers while prospecting for new accounts to increase your share; Periodically perform and communicate updated market intelligence toward progress on your products, customers/ prospects & competitors. This role requires regular travel within the designated region to meet with customers, attend industry events, and build networks.

Key Qualifications 5+ years plus experience in sales & marketing of food chemicals & ingredients You are a real sales ‘animal’ driven by results and who loves creating long lasting customer relationships. Somebody who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment where you can create your own destiny, with a high level of ambition and passionate about developing a business You embody the entrepreneurial mindset of a family-run business, balancing independence with a collaborative spirit to drive results Self-starter / Hands-on / Self-motivated, able to work independently Analytical and develops business through a highly organized and structured manner Strong network and proven track record in sales, business development and trade in the European food industry gained in a similar role Previous experience within similar companies (international chemical/ingredients trading) is a strong plus A good communicator with a high level of convincing, negotiating and influencing skills both orally as well as in writing You are fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in German (for Germany), Polish (for Poland/Eastern Europe), or other regional languages is a strong advantage. Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) or sales analytics tools is a plus to track progress and optimize your Sales pipeline. Proficient user of Microsoft Window Office package (Outlook, PP, Word, Excel)
