Sales Manager, Gallery Partnerships (London)

Sales Representative – Gallery Growth (New Business Team)

Artsy is seeking a Sales Representative to engage with Galleries across the EMEA region, educating them on online presence and digital strategy. This quota-carrying role will drive subscription revenue by selling to emerging and Blue-Chip Galleries, requiring deep expertise in gallery sales motions.

About the Role Based in our London office (3 days/week hybrid), this position is part of Artsy’s New Business Team, whose sole purpose is to grow the marketplace supply by converting high-value gallery prospects into clients.

This is a fast-paced, target-driven environment where your contributions directly impact Artsy’s revenue growth and expansion of its global gallery network.


Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the full sales cycle—from initial outreach to closing new gallery partnerships
  • Develop and implement lead generation strategies tailored to high-value prospects
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets for new gallery acquisitions (~5 years in sales)
  • Build and maintain a strong outreach pipeline using Salesforce and Outreach, optimizing conversions for inbound & outbound leads
  • Consult on Artsy’s value proposition, addressing objections and standing out as the premier solution for gallery partners
  • Cultivate long-term relationships through timely, personalized follow-ups
  • Collaborate with the Sales Development Associate to strategize targeting by seasonality, events, and art happenings
  • Leverage AI & automation tools to improve client experiences and operational efficiency

Ideal Candidate

Requirements

  • Authorized to live and work in the UK
  • Willing to work 3 days per week in London
  • ~5+ years of experience in:
    • Sales-driven roles (client acquisition, account management)
    • Revenue-generating positions within the art industry
    • Galleries’ sales motions (understanding buyer behavior, gallery operations, etc.)
  • Consultative sales approach with a focus on ** Meeting customer needs**
  • Strong negotiation skills and talent for creative problem-solving
  • Ability to efficiently manage sales pipelines, with excellent organizational skills
  • Metrics-driven mindset and a track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Swedish (library) qualities: Ability to delight VIP clients with effective written & verbal communication
  • Comfort with AI & automation tools (advantageous bonus)

Language Skills (Not Mandatory)

  • French, German, Italian or Spanish

  • Base Salary: £38,000–£48,000/year
  • Commission plan with annual bonus opportunity of $30K
