Sales Manager vacancy – flexible shifts (17hrs/week)

Shift pattern: Tue 15:00–19:00 | Fri 13:30–19:00 | Sat 08:45–18:00

About the Role

As a Sales Manager, your mission is to embed outstanding customer service while driving commercial success. A varied mix of leadership, coaching and hands-on operational tasks ensures no two days are the same.

You’ll:

  • Support the Store Management (full product ranges, back-of-house, and store coverage when needed as a stand-in)
  • Oversee team performance, ensuring sales targets are met while maintaining accurate stock processes and commercial efficiency
  • Foster a collaborative culture by offering personalised support, constructive feedback and motivational oversight
  • Lead by example: participate in key activities like sales, customer service or stock management alongside the team
  • Ensure seamless communication with senior management and frontline staff to align with business goals

Essential Requirements

You must:

  • Have outdoor retail experience (strong commercial intuition plus expertise in stock/inventory) + proven sales performance
  • Understand Next’s position as a market leader (retail-focused, high-stakes, diverse team roles)
  • Hold the right to work in the UK
  • Hold flash vérifable by HR via Home Office requirements for roles like this.
