Regional Sales Manager
Location:
Northeast (Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, County Durham, North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, East Riding of Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, and Nottinghamshire)
Salary:
£55K - £65K (DOE)

My client is a global leader within the automation and packing industry who offer end-to-end manufacturing solutions to their clients.
They are now on the lookout for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join their team and work across the Northeast Region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Sales within the defined Territory.
- Be accountable for Sales and GM Budget within the defined Territory.
- Promote and sell the complete company product range of capital equipment.
- Manage the own territory in terms of customer meetings, appointments, contact, sales, and budgets.
- Represent the company at all levels within the existing customer base.
- Maintain CRM system and report activity to Director of Regional Sales as required.
- Achieve maximum possible sales within the defined Territory and increase profitable sales in line with company business plans.
- Generate new business within new and existing customers for both company "core" and 3rd Party Products.
- To deliver on the company's sales growth targets, maintaining and growing market share / install base.
- Maintain activity levels and momentum with opportunities through a minimum in-person call rate targets.

Qualifications & Experience
- A background in selling complex/bespoke solutions.
- Previous experience as a field-based territory sales representative.
- Good numeracy and Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to assimilate, analyze, and communicate complex problems.
- Confident stand-up presenter.
- Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Willing to travel and stay away from home as required, plus occasional European travel.
- Proactive and tenacious approach to selling: Hunther mentality – while managing existing accounts will constitute the majority of sales, sales within the region will not grow without hunting down new accounts and new business.
- Passionate / excited by engineering and delivering / presenting solutions to complex problems.
- Attention to detail.
