Sales Manager - Power, Transmission & Distribution
ersg is searching for a Sales Manager in the Power, Transmission & Distribution sector, specifically selling HV GIS switchgear (132kV to 400kV). Our client is hiring due to growth, going from 1 transformer projects to delivering over 100 projects in the UK. Candidates with experience of working on major projects, building relationships, and selling to TSOs or DNOs.
Responsibilities
- Drive sustainable order intake by proactively identifying, cultivating, and securing new business opportunities across both existing and prospective customers.
- Expand the customer portfolio through strategic business development, targeted customer engagement, and the development of long-term, value-driven relationships.
- Develop and execute high-impact sales strategies and customer engagement plans that align with the Company's commercial objectives and growth ambitions.
- Lead pre-qualification, vendor registration, and compliance activities to position the Company for participation in key tender opportunities.
- Evaluate and interpret commercial and technical tender documentation, formulate competitive bid strategies, and coordinate the preparation of compelling, compliant proposals to maximise win rates.
