Role: Sales Manager (UK & Ireland) / Kidde Commercial

Location: United Kingdom Annual Base Salary: 51,805–60,947 GBP

We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our expanding sales team in the UK & Ireland.


Role Description

Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sales Manager to enhance the existing UK Kidde Commercial sales team. The role involves proactively managing the full sales lifecycle—including engaging, selling, and closing opportunities—managing existing business, building strong client relationships, and developing new business for our range of fire detection products in the UK & Ireland.

The ideal candidate will be accountable for securing customer spending commitments, focussing on maximising growth and developing and executing strategic sales plans. They must be adept at identifying new opportunities, working closely with key stakeholders, and providing market intelligence and feedback. Additionally, they should utilise data to spot trends and growth opportunities while maintaining a consistent rhythm of business lead generation and conversion.


Key Responsibilities

Reporting & Metrics

  • Report to the UK/IRL Regional Country Manager
  • Meet agreed sales and Gross Margin objectives—both monthly and annually
  • Comply with KGS Ethics and Compliance Policies

Opportunity Development & Partnerships

  • Identify new opportunities and partners
  • Propose and follow through on tailored solutions for customer needs

Customer Engagement & Lead Management

  • Engage with customers at all levels, including regular on-site visits
  • Conduct visits to distributors and accompany them on customer engagements

Sales Workflow & Delivery

  • Prepare, submit, and follow up on quotations
  • Maintain accurate customer records in CRM (Salesforce)
  • Develop locally relevant marketing materials in collaboration with the UK & Ireland Regional Country Manager

Training & Knowledge Sharing

  • Host seminars and training sessions at customer locations and remotely
