Assistant Sales and Marketing Manager – Japanese Speaking
(Engineering / Technical International Sales background)
Salary range: £35,000 – £50,000 DOE
Euro London Appointments is delighted to be supporting one of our long-standing clients, a global trading specialist, as they expand their sales and marketing team.
This opportunity is ideal for sales professionals with experience in engineering, technical products, and international B2B sales, particularly those confident navigating electromechanical systems and technical conversations.
Our client is specifically seeking someone who can engage in deep technical discussions with both suppliers and customers, covering system specifications, component behaviour, and engineering adjustments. Because the role bridges European suppliers and Japan-based customers, fluency in both English and Japanese is essential.
Reporting to the General Manager and Sales Managers, you’ll drive new business development, support existing accounts, and act as a key link between technical teams and commercial stakeholders across Europe and Japan.
If you’re looking to build on your technical sales experience in a collaborative environment while using your Japanese language skills daily, this could be the perfect next step.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
