About the role

With 14 UK service centres and over 100 global sites, we deliver industry-leading solutions for the service, repair, and lifecycle optimisation of pumps, turbines, compressors, motors, and generators. From local site support to complex large machine refurbishments and upgrades, our expertise keeps operations efficient, reliable, and sustainable.
As we continue to invest in growth and expand our market share, we are looking for a Sales Manager – Large Machines to play a pivotal role in shaping our success.
This is not a standard sales role — it’s a strategic, technical, and customer-facing position where your expertise will directly influence growth across the UK.
You will:
- Own and drive the sales strategy for large rotating machines, including HV motors and generators
- Partner with regional sales teams to identify, develop, and convert high-value opportunities
- Build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and internal engineering teams
- Influence the market through insights on competitors, emerging technologies, and industry trends
- Support the development of innovative service solutions alongside engineering and operations
- Maintain a strong pipeline and deliver against ambitious growth targets

What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Significant experience in large motors, generators, or rotating equipment
- A strong track record in technical sales or solution selling
- Deep understanding of aftermarket services and lifecycle management
- The ability to engage confidently with both engineers and senior decision-makers
- Proven experience delivering sales strategy and growth
- Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently
- Willingness to travel across the UK and engage with customers on-site
