Sales Manager / Player Manager – IT Solutions & Reseller Division

Hybrid (1-2 Days per Week in Newmarket)

£60-65k Base + Uncapped Commission

Certus Recruitment is partnering with a growing MSP looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to drive revenue growth across its IT Solutions & Reseller division.

This is a leadership role for a proven sales professional who still enjoys carrying a target. You'll lead from the front, winning new business, building pipeline, and setting the pace for a small sales team.

The Role

  • Drive new business acquisition across IT hardware, cloud, infrastructure, workplace, and managed technology solutions
  • Build and convert a strong personal pipeline
  • Consistently exceed revenue and margin targets
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a small sales team to increase performance and output
  • Improve sales activity, forecasting, and pipeline management
  • Work closely with leadership to identify new revenue opportunities and accelerate growth
  • Develop relationships with customers, vendors, and strategic partners

The Profile

  • Proven track record of exceeding targets within an MSP, VAR, reseller, or technology solutions environment
  • Strong new business hunter with a passion for winning
  • Previous experience leading or mentoring sales professionals
  • Experience selling IT hardware, infrastructure, cloud, or managed services
  • Commercially driven with strong negotiation and deal-closing skills
  • Able to balance personal sales success with team leadership responsibilities
