Sales Manager / Player Manager – IT Solutions & Reseller Division
Hybrid (1-2 Days per Week in Newmarket)
£60-65k Base + Uncapped Commission
Certus Recruitment is partnering with a fast-growing MSP seeking a hands-on Sales Manager to lead and grow its IT Solutions & Reseller division.
This is a true player-manager role, combining personal revenue generation with leadership responsibilities. You'll drive new business, manage a small sales team, and help shape the strategy and growth of an established, well-backed technology business.
The Role
- Generate new business across IT hardware, cloud, infrastructure, workplace, and technology solutions
- Build and manage your own sales pipeline
- Lead, coach, and develop a small sales team
- Drive performance, forecasting, and sales process improvements
- Work closely with senior leadership on growth strategy
- Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and technology partners

The Profile
- Proven success in MSP, VAR, reseller, channel, or technology solutions sales
- Previous sales leadership or team management experience
- Strong new business hunter mentality
- Experience selling IT infrastructure, cloud, hardware, or managed services
- Commercially astute with excellent communication and coaching skills
- Able to balance personal billing with team leadership
