Sales Manager - Parcel
Reports to: Parcel Sales Group Leader
Location: UK Remote/Birmingham – with some travel
Contract Type: Permanent

Role Responsibilities
The Parcel Sales Manager will work within the UK Parcel Solutions Team, who play a key role in growing our existing accounts as well as generating new business. This role will make an important contribution to our sales success. Your focus is to build and develop strong relationships with our customers and work to ensure that solutions and proposals are developed to meet the customer needs and offer the best value-add solution and service.
Your responsibilities and activities will include:
- Develop and grow relationships with key parcel customers in the UK
- Lead and manage matrixed teams during the tender process for sales opportunities (project and service)
- Lead and manage multi-disciplined teams to support scope definition, design and programme look ahead and to determine the right solution to meet the customer needs and offer the best value-add
- Work closely with the UK Contracts Manager in negotiating terms and conditions for project opportunities
- Lead presentations of solutions to the customer, including pricing, products and systems layout and how the proposed system or service will operate to meet their commercial requirements
- Create effective working relationships with all departments both in the UK and globally (as required e.g. NEME, India) to ensure that customer expectations are exceeded

Role Qualification And Skills
- Previous experience automation, in an Engineering or Manufacturing environment
- Preferred knowledge of the UK parcel market and/or customer operations
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
- The ability to interpret drawings is essential
- Flexibility to undertake European travel as and when required
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Word
