Sales Manager – Wokingham
Salary: £40,000 Basic Salary OTE: £65,000+ Location: Wokingham Hours: Full-Time, Permanent
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead a successful automotive sales team in Wokingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven automotive sales professional looking to take the next step in their career or an established Sales Manager seeking a new challenge.
You will be responsible for driving performance, developing your team, maximising profitability, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Drive vehicle sales, finance penetration, and profitability across the department.
- Monitor and manage individual and team performance against agreed targets.
- Recruit, coach, and support sales executives to achieve their full potential.
- Ensure excellent customer satisfaction and retention levels.
- Manage stock levels and vehicle displays to maximise sales opportunities.
- Oversee sales processes and ensure compliance with company and FCA guidelines.
- Produce accurate sales forecasts and departmental reports.
- Work closely with senior management to implement business strategies and objectives.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Sales Manager within the automotive industry.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Proven track record of delivering sales results and driving profitability.
- Excellent communication and coaching abilities.
- Commercial awareness with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to perform in a target-driven environment.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
