Sales Manager Project Business - UK
Offices located in Hull, East Yorkshire.
Working from Home office
Your main tasks
- Definition of target applications, industries, and customers
- Targeting ‘Project’ business in the UK and Ireland
- Maintaining the existing customer base and acquiring new, profitable customers and developing longstanding customer relationships.
- Time Split: 80% Travel, 20% Home office.
- Customer visits, presentation of companies and products, and arousing interest
- Selection of drives, price calculation, and preparation of offers.
- Evaluating and understanding applications and failure analysis
- Order negotiations with customers.
- Collaborate with factories and internal sales to share technical knowledge and support.
- Initiation of technically and commercially clarified orders for processing by factories.
- Assisting factories with order processing and any complaints
- Monitoring markets and trends and reporting them to management.
- Supporting management in the preparation of the annual budget and the monthly forecast regarding incoming orders.
- Implementing and developing a Sales strategy suitable for your area of responsibility.
- Review of commercial contracts within Project RFQ’s.

Your Requirements
- Mechanical or electrical engineer or similar experience.
- Several years of experience in B2B business in industry
- Willing and able to Travel within the UK and Ireland.
- Good analytical and negotiation skills
- Accustomed to working independently and being a team player.
- Accustomed to using tools such as Microsoft Office and open to the use of the CRM system.
