Sales Manager – Automotive Retail

Are you an experienced automotive sales professional ready to take your career to the next level? We're recruiting on behalf of one of Northern Ireland's leading and fastest-growing automotive groups for an exciting opportunity to become Sales Manager of a prestigious franchise operation in Portadown.
This is more than just a sales management role. It's an opportunity to take ownership of a high-performing sales operation, lead and develop a talented team, and play a key role in the continued growth of a progressive, award-winning automotive business.
The Opportunity
As Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for driving sales performance, developing your team and delivering an outstanding customer experience.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business objectives
- Lead, coach and motivate a high-performing sales team
- Monitor performance, analyse sales data and identify opportunities for growth
- Create a positive, collaborative and high-performance team culture
- Deliver regular training and development across sales techniques and product knowledge
- Build strong customer relationships and drive customer loyalty
- Work closely with other departments to achieve wider business objectives
- Support recruitment and the continued growth of the sales team

What We're Looking For
We're looking for a confident, commercially-minded leader with experience in automotive sales, retail management or a similar environment. You'll ideally bring:

- Proven experience in sales or retail management
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- A track record of coaching and developing teams
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive, positive and results-driven approach
- Strong knowledge of the motor industry
- Experience using DMS systems and MS Office
- A full UK driving licence
