Sales Manager
Sales & Retention Manager – At Frasers Group
About Frasers Group
As a Sales & Retention Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving membership growth, maximising retention, and ensuring our club’s live member numbers continue to expand. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this is a leadership-focused, full-time role where your responsibilities will span sales strategy, team mentorship, and delivering an exceptional member experience—right from their first visit.
You’ll be the ambassador of sales excellence within the club, leading by example, implementing smart methodologies, and fostering strong connections—both with members and external partners. The right candidate is someone who thrives on driving results, coaching others, and keeping profitability and member satisfaction at the core of everything they do.
Job Description
What You’ll Be Doing
- Advocating and delivering our core sales framework – Training and coaching the team to ensure peak performance while upholding the Fundamentals sales process.
- Cultivating live member growth – Balancing new member acquisition with retention strategies to continuously grow our membership base.
- Owning the club’s activity planner – Developing and executing high-impact initiatives to keep engagement and revenue streams thriving.
- Launching innovative lead-generation tactics – Implementing both internal (front-of-house) and external (local partnerships) strategies to fuel growth.
- Monitoring financial and operational KPIs – Regularly reviewing dashboards and reporting insights to ensure targets are consistently met.
- Diversifying revenue streams – Driving income from memberships, gym product sales, and secondary spend to maximise profitability.
- Delivering monthly sales performance insights – Presenting actionable findings to the management team to guide strategic decisions.
- Building mutually beneficial business relationships – Growing #WeMoveBusinesses partnerships and network opportunities for the club.
- Setting the sales standard – Leading face-to-face interactions as an ambassador, embodying best practice on reception and throughout the gym.
- Engaging with national initiatives – Actively taking part in campaigns like #WorkoutWednesday and #WeCommunicate to boost community spirit.
- Nurturing team development – Providing constructive feedback and supporting colleagues in achieving their full potential.
- Supporting broader operations – Assisting the General Manager with health & safety, facilities, maintenance, recruitment, and presentation standards.
