Technical Sales Manager
Job Title: Technical Sales Manager Location: South of England Industry: Engineering Services Salary: Up to £57,500 (dependent on experience) plus bonuses, car and full package, including generous pension and private health insurance
About the Role
An established leader in high-performance precision engineering solutions is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to expand their market coverage in the South of England. With over 50 years of history, the company delivers highly engineered solutions across sectors including:
- Automotive
- Aerospace
- Marine industries
This role reports directly to the Sales and Marketing Director, offering significant influence on business strategy. It’s ideal for candidates with expertise in:
- Technical sales within injection moulding, rubber moulding, vacuum moulding
- Technologies such as additive manufacturing, rapid prototyping, and 3D printing services

Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth in high-value engineering markets
- Develop and maintain strategic client relationships with R&D engineers
- Lead proposal development and pricing negotiations while maintaining profitability
- Transition from strategy execution to individual lead responsibility
Key Requirements
Experience & Expertise
- Proven track record in technical sales, particularly for...
- Rapid prototyping services or 3D printing
- Injection moulding, rubber moulding, vacuum moulding
- Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) moulding
- Other precision manufacturing (e.g. CNC, EDM)
- Technical credibility: Ability to engage intelligently with R&D teams and interpret CAD drawings
- Capacity to quickly المعtre familiarity with company tooling and processes
Personal Attributes
- High integrity and discipline in delivering sales outcomes
- Proactive mindset with autonomous leadership qualities
- Strong commitment to time management
- Knowledge of sales KPI frameworks and ability to apply them self-directedly
