Senior Sales Executive – Securities Financing SaaS
Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: Competitive Base + Uncapped Bonus + Benefits
An innovative and rapidly growing financial technology business is looking to hire a Senior Sales Executive to drive the growth of its institutional client base across the UK and Europe.
This is an opportunity to join an established fintech operating at the intersection of capital markets, securities financing, and institutional trading, providing technology that enhances collaboration, streamlines trading workflows, and improves operational efficiency for leading financial institutions.
The successful individual will be responsible for developing new business opportunities while managing the full sales lifecycle, working closely with senior stakeholders across buy-side institutions.
The Role
As a Senior Sales Executive, you will be responsible for:
- Driving new business acquisition across institutional buy-side firms
- Managing the full 360° sales cycle from prospecting through to negotiation and close
- Building and executing strategic account plans to win new clients
- Developing relationships with senior decision makers including Portfolio Managers, Traders, Securities Finance teams, and Heads of Trading
- Identifying new revenue opportunities within existing networks and target accounts
- Working closely with internal product and leadership teams to influence commercial strategy
- Representing the business at industry events and maintaining a strong market presence
- Providing valuable market feedback to support future product development

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 5 years' commercial sales experience within Securities Financing, Capital Markets, or Financial Markets Technology
- Proven success in a 360° new business sales role
- Existing relationships across the buy-side, with a strong institutional network
- Deep understanding of the Securities Financing market and associated workflows
- Experience selling financial technology or SaaS solutions to buy-side institutions or direct front-office sales experience within an investment bank focused on securities financing
- Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed sales targets
- Strong commercial, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience engaging C-level and senior front-office stakeholders
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
