Sales Manager – Utility Scale Renewable EPC 📍 Hybrid UK | Hampshire

Are you an experienced sales professional with a background in utility-scale solar, renewable energy, EPC, engineering, or infrastructure projects?

We are working with a leading European renewable energy business that is expanding its UK operations and looking for a Sales Manager to help drive the next phase of growth within the utility-scale solar market.

This is a strategic commercial role focused on developing new opportunities, strengthening key client relationships, and leading complex EPC sales processes from initial engagement through to contract award.

The Opportunity:

  • Drive new business development across the UK utility-scale solar market
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, IPPs, investors, asset owners, consultants, and industry stakeholders
  • Lead end-to-end sales processes, from prospecting through to successful contract award
  • Manage negotiations for multi-million-pound EPC contracts
  • Develop commercial proposals, tenders, pricing strategies, and client presentations
  • Work closely with engineering, estimating, and project delivery teams to develop competitive solutions
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and identify future market opportunities
  • Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities

You’ll ideally have:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or key account management within solar, renewable energy, EPC, engineering, or infrastructure
  • Experience managing complex, consultative sales cycles
  • A strong track record negotiating high-value commercial contracts
  • The ability to engage confidently with both technical teams and senior decision-makers
  • Strong commercial awareness and relationship-building skills
  • Knowledge of EPC project delivery and renewable energy markets
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally
