About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Manager in London with a passion for video marketing and execution, consistently striving to exceed the expectations of clients, team members, and colleagues.
The candidate is responsible for:
- Building and maintaining relationships mainly with media agencies
- Generating new business
- Driving revenue in a fast-paced, rapidly changing industry
The ideal Sales Manager is a self-starter with outstanding digital sales experience and a passion for digital media and innovation.
They are dynamic, strategic, and analytical, with experience within the video marketing sphere—both on and off YouTube. They are also passionate about learning more about video marketing offerings, digital media, and the capabilities of YouTube and emerging platforms. Bringing meticulous attention to detail, they can manage multiple complex projects, demonstrating organizational skills, statistical analysis, and business acumen—while always willing to put in the extra effort.

Responsibilities
- Lead and drive the local sales effort
- Market Channel Factory’s products to media agencies and clients
- Provide buyers with the right tools and knowledge to advocate our service
- Create and execute a sales strategy, turning it into growth opportunities and revenue (in collaboration with Management)
- Manage day-to-day work with the Account Management team
- Take ownership of agencies and partnerships, leading the way
- Find new sales opportunities through networking, developing long-term partnerships with media agencies and direct clients
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting → presenting Channel Factory’s products → closing deals
- Provide actionable insights and solutions to agencies based on their video advertising goals and capabilities, then negotiate costs and terms to establish win-win partnerships
- Take full ownership of agency partnerships, expanding them and tailoring Channel Factory products to their needs, understanding their clients, budgets, and key contacts
- Educate agencies on the importance of Brand Safety and Brand Suitability on YouTube, demonstrating the superiority of Channel Factory’s technology over alternatives
- Forecast, track, and report sales performance (budget, timelines, probability to close)
- Collaborate with internal teams (Client Solutions, AdOps, and international sales) to ensure campaigns are executed properly, aligned with clients’ campaign objectives

Requirements & Qualifications
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 4 years of digital sales experience in the UK
- Experience in YouTube or digital video sales (preferred, but not mandatory)
- Established relationships with major holding and independent media agencies (direct contacts are a plus)
- Ambition to exceed individual and team revenue goals through executing a high volume of meetings
- Ability to scale pitches, meetings, and follow-ups effectively
- Willingness to perform autonomously in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Ability to analyze clients’ video-marketing objectives, brands, ROI goals, media buying cycles, and metrics of success

Soft Skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong problem-solving ability, including assessing client needs, evaluating options, and making faster, data-driven decisions
- Expertise in sales negotiation and market research principles
Technical Proficiency
- Proficient in: Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, CRM platforms (Salesforce), and videoconferencing tools
- DV360 or Google AdWords experience is a plus
- All internal communications are in English → excellent command of written & spoken English is required
