Job Title: Sales Manager – UK & EMEA Company: Source Certain Location: London and or Cambridge, UK (with flexibility for remote work and travel) Reports to: Commercial Director, with dotted line to CEO Remuneration: £60,000-£75,000 subject to experience, with double OTE Source Certain is at an inflection point, and the right person will be energised by the opportunity to shape its commercial trajectory. About the Company Source Certain is a science-led organisation helping global brands, retailers, and producers build confidence in their supply chains through origin verification and product authentication solutions. Using advanced forensic and analytical techniques, we support organisations in addressing challenges related to fraud, sourcing transparency, ESG accountability, regulatory compliance, and reputational risk. Our work combines scientific expertise, data-driven insights, and commercial pragmatism to help customers reduce sourcing risk and strengthen product claims within international supply chains. As demand for traceability and verification solutions continues to accelerate globally, we are expanding our commercial team in EMEA. The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Sales Manager – UK & EMEA to lead our business development initiatives across the region. This role is focused on building and converting opportunities across multinational organisations operating in sectors such as food & agriculture, timber & forestry, minerals & metals, along with brands, retailers, and consumer goods. You will engage senior decision-makers, develop strategic go-to-market plans, and guide customers through complex solution-based sales cycles. You will work closely with technical specialists, marketing, and leadership teams to position Source Certain as a trusted partner in supply chain assurance and origin verification. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a regional sales strategy across EMEA aligned to company growth objectives Identify, qualify, and convert new opportunities within target sectors Build relationships with senior stakeholders across sourcing, sustainability, compliance, quality, and supply chain functions Manage complex consultative sales cycles from initial engagement through to contract negotiation, close, and ongoing client engagement support Maintain a strong pipeline of strategic opportunities within CRM systems Collaborate with internal scientific, technical, and operational experts to develop tailored customer solutions Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive activity related to traceability, ESG, and product assurance Contribute to forecasting, territory planning, and commercial reporting activities Support the ongoing refinement of go-to-market messaging and value propositions About You This is not a role for someone who manages existing accounts or waits for inbound demand. The right individual is proactive by instinct, rigorous in approach, and motivated by the challenge of opening new markets and establishing Source Certain as the partner of choice within industries where supply chain integrity is becoming a strategic imperative. You are a proactive and commercially minded sales professional with experience in selling and closing complex consultative solutions into enterprise environments. You are comfortable navigating a mix of both short and long sales cycles, while engaging senior stakeholders within international organisations.
